Active Bird Community – Sweaty Lake

Dirty,  gritty, punky, yet so soft. Active Bird Community is a fairly new addition to the family of indie that resides Neutral Milk Hotel as well as Two Door Cinema Club. This track is off of their latest release called Amends. They really grasp the vibe of early 2000’s pop-punk without having to be so dramatically whiny. With a guitar that’s not overpowering drums that aren’t just crashing cymbals, they create a heavy mellow atmosphere that could fit just about any setting.
